Fly to London, stopping in Dubai on the way
Fly to London, stopping in Dubai on the way. Don't forget to check out the Burj Khalifa while you're there. Continue travelling on to London. With more than 7 million inhabitants and an extensive underground system. London is a truly diverse city and a global metropolis. Students will get to immerse themselves in one of the greatest capital cities in the world.
Explore London
Spend day 4 exploring the big smoke on your London City Pass and travel card. Top City Attractions included on your City Pass include the Tower of London, Thames River Cruise, the London Bridge Experience, a visit to Windsor Castle, St Paul's Cathedral and London Zoo.
City hopping from Paris, Geneva, Milan, and Rome
Depart on the EuroStar Rail from London to Paris. The capital of France is also known as the City of Light. This enchanting city, at the crossroads of cultures, is the capital of fashion and home to world highlights such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and Avenue des Champs Elysées, to name but a few.
Embark on a guided City Tour of Paris. Hop back on the train for an afternoon departure across the border to Geneva. Geneva is home to the United Nations and the Red Cross.
Geneva is one of the few global cities with an important financial centre. Don't forget to check out the United Nation's Office before hopping back on the train for an afternoon departure to Italy's Business Capital, Milan. Milan is located in the north west of Italy and is home to a number of museums, designers factory shops, churches and other landmarks. Enjoy a day in Milan before departing for Rome.
Head to Venice
After checking out the Vatican City, Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum, head on to Venice. Venice has beautiful churches, squares and museums. Top sights include St Mark's Basilica, Doge's Palace and a canal tour on a Gondola. Depart by train from Venice to Salzburg the following morning.
Salzburg is famed for its old world glamour, made all the more striking by the majestic backdrop of snow-capped alps. Salzburg is the fourth largest of Austria. It is located on the banks of Salzach river, near the German borders and north of the Alps. The city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the next 2 days exploring the birth place of Mozart! Top sights include the Hohensalzburg Castle, the Domkirche Cathedral and the Pleasure Gardens.
Enjoy Munich
Depart early for Munich - it is an important centre for art, culture and international affairs. Spend the next 2 days exploring Munich. The top sights include the BMW Welt Factory, the FC Bayern, Englisher Garten Park Hofbrauhaus beer hall and the Gothic Church of Our Lady. Depart from Munich to Prague the following morning.
Visit Prague, the heart of Europe
For fabulous views over Prague, climb up to the monk's vineyards near the fabulous St Vitus Cathedral.
Spend the next 2 days in Prague, the city of Spires. Top sights include Old Town Tower Bridge, Funicular (Cable Car), Wenceslaus Square and the House of Black Madonna.
Enjoy a cheeky currywurst in Berlin
Depart from Prague to Berlin and spend your last 2 days exploring the largest City in Germany, Berlin.
After the World War II, the city was divided into two parts surrounded by the Berlin Wall. In 1989 the wall was destroyed, followed by the German reunification in 1990. As a result, Berlin regained its status as the capital of Germany. Having bounced back confidently from 20th century division, Berlin is has become one of Europe’s most exciting destinations.
After an exciting visit to Berlin, Transfer by coach to Berlin Airport, say goodbye to your Educating Adventures Representative and depart on your flight home.
