Educating Adventures is dedicated to providing exciting, educational, and safe trips to schools and students around the world. The safety of every traveller is of great importance to us. We have systems and procedures in place, to ensure the safety of our teachers, students, and tour guides while on-tour, and before departure. It is essential that every individual has the resources, tools, and guidance they need to deal with any situation. Travel can be unpredictable, and there are often unforeseen circumstances. We want every parent, principal, teacher, and student to have confidence that every step is taken to prioritise their safety while away on their school trip. Over years of operation, we have developed a thorough risk assessment and incident management procedure. We offer 24-hour assistance while on tour and you can rest assured - your safety is our top priority.

Financial Security

Educating Adventures protects and has in place bonding and trust accounts to give our clients peace of mind with regards to financial security. Each year we undergo a series of financial reviews with the various associations we are members of.

• In Australia we are a member of the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA). ATIA represents retail and corporate travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, and consolidators in Australia. In addition to an annual financial review, we are also required to operate a client account. A client account provides clients with peace of mind, knowing their money is safeguarded. Funds deposits are to be used only for securing the required travel package elements and not for funding day to day operational costs of the agency.

• Certified Student Travel Organisation (CSTO) certification
  • Educating Adventures is a Certified Student Travel Organization (CSTO) from the Center for Student Travel Safety, an affiliate of the Student and Youth Travel Association (SYTA). The CSTO certification is awarded to companies who have met or exceeded the minimum of 25 safety standards established by the Center and SYTA. SYTA is a global educational travel association equipped to educate student travel providers about all aspects of student travel, with an emphasis on student travel safety and personal and educational enrichment. The standards are derived from the most effective practices in the industry and are based upon SYTA’s Code of Ethics and reviewed by an objective commission of industry experts
• Australian Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS) accredited
  • ATAS companies need to prove the following:
  • That they are a 'Fit and Proper Entity'
  • Be a registered Australian Number (ABN) holder
  • Comply with relevant sections of the ASIC Administered Corporations Act 2001 as required

The next step is to let know that you would like to work with us and we can advise and help you to make this tour a reality. There is no obligation to travel, this step just allows us to make all necessary enquiries and work with our suppliers on organising initial details for your group while you advertise the trip to your school and collect deposits.

Get it right

This quotation and itinerary is a starting point. We enjoy this stage, spending time with teachers to make changes and ensure each school group gets the best itinerary at a suitable package price.

Confirm the trip

To confirm your trip a non-refundable deposit (normally 15% of the package price) is required. Once we have secured the main components of your trip with our suppliers we will send you a confirmation invoice. This will include a remaining payments schedule as agreed with you. Note: international flights are generally only available to be booked 11 months prior to travel.

Price guarantee

We know how difficult it is for teachers to ask parents for more money. Once we have issued a confirmation invoice the price will never change as long as the itinerary does not change and the numbers of travellers remain the same. So the price of the tour will not increase if flights and/or taxes increase or exchange rate changes. Another reason why EA School Tours makes teachers' lives easier!

Today enjoy a Singapore Discovery Culture Tour focusing on Singapore's great cultural diversity, a unique blend of the Malay, Indian, and Chinese cultures. 

Our first stop is Kampong Glam, traditionally known as Singapore’s Muslim Quarter. Once the seat of Malay royalty, this area blends Islamic heritage with contemporary street culture. Visit the iconic Sultan Mosque, admire the colourful murals along Haji Lane, and stroll down Arab Street, famous for its fabric stores and Middle Eastern eateries along with a visit to the Malay Heritage centre.

Next, journey to Little India, a district known for its colours, strong cultural identity, and historic landmarks. With roots dating back to the 19th century when Indian migrant workers settled here, the area remains a key cultural hub for Singapore’s Indian community. Explore its lively streets lined with spice shops, flower garland stalls, temples, and traditional eateries.

Explore the historic district of Chinatown, an area rich in cultural heritage and tradition. Developed in the early 19th century by Chinese immigrants, Chinatown is home to preserved shop houses, bustling markets, and religious landmarks. During a walking tour, learn about Buddhist beliefs and the influence of Chinese traditions in Singaporean society with visits to the Buddha Relic Temple and the Chinatown Heritage centre. Dinner will be at a local restaurant within the Chinatown area. 

Today’s program highlights Singapore’s impressive commitment to sustainability, resource management, and environmentally conscious urban planning. Through a series of site visits, students will explore how this small island nation leads by example in building a green, liveable city.

First stop for the day is the Singapore City Gallery situated at the Urban Redevelopment Authority. This engaging and interactive gallery showcases Singapore’s remarkable transformation from a fledgling nation in the 1960s into one of Asia’s most liveable cities. Through a range of exhibits—including detailed maps, the "A Touch of History" display, and an impressive island-wide model—students gain insight into the city’s urban planning challenges and the innovative solutions that continue to shape its development.

Then proceed to the Marina Barrage, a cornerstone of Singapore’s water management strategy. By damming the Marina Channel, the barrage has transformed the area into the Marina Reservoir—Singapore’s first city-centre freshwater catchment. The site plays a triple role in water supply, flood control, and recreation. Students will learn how the reservoir collects rainwater from a catchment area covering one-sixth of the island and supports Singapore’s long-term water sustainability as part of its “Four National Taps” strategy.

Visit Gardens by the Bay, which provides students with an opportunity to experience the development of modern Singapore. Set on 54 hectares the complex consists of two climate conservatories. Appreciate the unique technologies for long term conservation and sustainability. Students will examine the site's sustainable features, including energy-efficient cooling systems, the use of recycled water, and eco-friendly construction materials. The visit also highlights how integrated transport links and thoughtful urban planning reduce the environmental impact of large-scale public spaces. We then transfer back to the hotel.

First stop this morning is the urban farming community Edible Garden City, which champions the sustainable living movement and encourages everyone to do so. Variety of growing methods in the 8000 sqm facility demonstrates the viability of productive farms in offices, malls, and community centres, making safe, fresh, nutritious produce accessible to all Singaporians. By closing the gap between food and people, we aim to reconnect city dwellers with nature. Students will participate in a guided tour around Citizen Farm which features the unique farming stations along with a talk that will dive into solutions for food security, food waste and social issues like ageing population, inequality environmental impact through agriculture.

Next visit Dialogue in the Dark Singapore and experience everyday situations in complete darkness. Dialogue in the Dark Singapore is a unique, experiential teaching and learning centre in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. It offers various transformational programmes to schools, enabling students to develop skills ranging from empathy and inclusion, to communications, leadership and change management.

The group then will enjoy a Bumboat River Cruise along the Singapore River. You will see the colonial buildings, traditional Chinese shops, modern skyscrapers, each of them would tell you an exciting story of Singapore. Dinner will be at Haidilao Hot Pot restaurant Clark Quay. 

Today visit HDB Heartlands town in Singapore. On this unique walking Public Housing Tour - Into the HDB Heartlands in Singapore, students will leave behind the glitzy centre of Singapore and explore the housing estates where majority of Singaporeans live. On this tour, you’ll learn all about these developments and the lives of the people who call them home. See how HDB heartlanders eat, shop, travel, play and relax in this very typical HDB town centre.

Proceed to the Housing & Development Board (HDB) Gallery which showcases HDB’s latest housing initiatives and bold planning ideas to provide affordable homes in a quality living environment. Capturing nearly six decades of Singapore’s housing journey, the HDB gallery tells the HDB story through an immersive, multi-media experience. Students can walk through distinctively themed spaces to discover how our towns are planned and designed, and get up close and personal with the cutting-edge urban innovations and sustainability solutions that have helped improve the living environment for our residents.

The next visit is to the Singapore Mobility Gallery which features seven exhibition zones that showcase various facets of Singapore’s comprehensive land transport system. The Gallery gives a behind-the-scenes look at how the Land Transport Authority plans, designs and builds Singapore’s transport system while balancing efficiency, liveability and inclusivity as it leverages technology for smarter urban mobility. The Gallery makes use of technology to create a rich and immersive learning experience for students.

Proceed back to the hotel via the Singapore Mass Rail Transit. Today, more than 140 stations across six MRT lines span the island. This 200km system has over three million daily ridership and is the island country’s principal mode of transport.

This morning we will be visiting One-North, the Silicon Valley of Singapore . From a backwater in the past, to a bustling metropolis today, Singapore has indeed transformed. Despite the success they enjoy now, they continue to strive for the next bound of what is to come, and becoming a SMART Nation is the next phase of transformation for Singapore. One-North was designed with this in mind. Having a precinct that is dedicated to innovation is important for local start-ups to experiment, research and grow. Learn more about this "Silicon Valley of Singapore" and explore this innovative district as we discover a new ecosystem, introduce various local start-ups, and tell the stories of how they brought their ideas to life.

Then proceed to the Singapore Maritime Gallery. Discover the Singapore Maritime story as you journey through the experiential zones and learn how Singapore transformed into one of the world’s leading international maritime centres and one of the world’s busiest port.

Next visit is to Marina Bay, a symbol of Singapore’s rapid transformation into a global city. With its futuristic skyline and architectural marvels like Marina Bay Sands and the Helix Bridge, this area showcases the city-state’s forward-thinking urban design. Students will learn about Singapore’s land reclamation efforts and the planning that helped transform the bay into a thriving financial and entertainment hub.

Proceeding to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, visit the Skypark Observation Deck soaring 57 levels and 200 metres high above the city with stunning views of the Singapore skyline. From Marina South Pier all the way out to the Singapore Strait, you'll have a bird’s eye view of the bustling shipping lanes that have built Singapore’s rich multicultural history. Enjoy a buffet dinner at Rise restaurant prior to viewing Spectra, a light and water show extravaganza at Marina Bay. 

Today set off to Faber Peak Singapore and fly from Singapore’s only hilltop destination and cross the harbour on the Mount Faber Cable Car Line before landing in Sentosa Island. The island was originally a British military fortress that has been transformed into an entertainment precinct. Spanning over 500 hectares, it’s home to beaches, amusement parks, and themed entertainment zones that attract millions of visitors each year.

Visit Universal Studios, Southeast Asia’s first Hollywood movie theme park where students can enjoy the rides, shows and immersive zones based on blockbuster films such as Jurassic Park, Transformers and Shrek.
