This quotation and itinerary is a starting point. We enjoy this stage, spending time with teachers to make changes and ensure each school group gets the best itinerary at a suitable package price.

 

Confirm the trip

To confirm your trip a non-refundable deposit (normally 15% of the package price) is required. This can be completed ahead of flight release and would be refundable until your flights are booked and agreed. Note: international flights are generally only available to be booked 11 months prior to travel.

 

Price Guarantee

We know how difficult it is for teachers to ask parents for more money. Once we have issued your second invoice, the price will never change as long as the itinerary does not change and the number of travellers remains the same. So the price of the tour will not increase if flights and/or taxes increase or exchange rate changes. Another reason why EA School Tours makes teachers' lives easier!

Today we enjoy a guided sightseeing tour focusing on Singapore great cultural diversity, a unique blend of the Malay, Indian, and Chinese cultures.

Our first stop is Kampong Glam, traditionally known as Singapore’s Muslim Quarter. Once the seat of Malay royalty, this area blends Islamic heritage with contemporary street culture. We’ll visit the iconic Sultan Mosque, admire the colourful murals along Haji Lane, and stroll down Arab Street, famous for its fabric stores and Middle Eastern eateries.

Next, we journey to Little India, a district known for its colours, strong cultural identity, and historic landmarks. With roots dating back to the 19th century when Indian migrant workers settled here, the area remains a key cultural hub for Singapore’s Indian community. We explore its lively streets lined with spice shops, flower garland stalls, temples, and traditional eateries.

We then proceed to the Harmony in Diversity Gallery. The gallery aims to promote an appreciation of Singapore’s rich religious diversity. It hopes this will foster a spirit of give and take, mutual respect and understanding, necessary to nurture and strengthen the religious peace and harmony we enjoy today. The HDG comprises four galleries of exhibits, artefacts and interactive features. Through this immersive and engaging platform, we hope to demonstrate the centrality of religious harmony to Singapore’s continued development, as well as the efforts required to build interfaith peace in a religiously diverse society.

We then proceed to the historic district of Chinatown, an area rich in cultural heritage and tradition. Developed in the early 19th century by Chinese immigrants, Chinatown is home to preserved shop houses, bustling markets, and religious landmarks. During our walking tour, we learn about Buddhist beliefs and the influence of Chinese traditions in Singapore.

Spend a leisurely morning at the Visual Arts Centre which is an exhibition gallery and art studio at Dhoby Ghaut Green.

Students will enjoy a 2 hour Chinese Ink, Calligraphy or Batik Handkerchief Painting program workshop.

Explore Peranakan (Straits Chinese) culture in Joo Chiat and Katong while strolling past heritage shophouses, quaint stores and eateries. Bask in the incredibly stylish architecture, furnishings, and the intricately painted ceramic tiles of yesteryear. 

Prior to the visit to Joo Chiat and Katong will be visiting the Peranakan museum. This museum's three floors are devoted to the rich culture, fascinating artefacts and colourful stories of the Peranakan people. 

Visit the Changi Chapel Museum to take in the history of over 90,000 POW’s including our Aussie hero’s that passed through the Changi POW camp site. The museum tells the story of prisoners of war (POWs) and civilians interned in Changi prison camp during the Japanese Occupation during World War 2.

It features artefacts presented in an intimate and engaging format. The Museum is a sombre reminder of this dark period, and sheds light on the emotional events that unfolded here between 1942 and 1945.

Proceed to the Jewel at Changi, a stunning complex located at the heart of the airport. Witness the fascinating sights of one of the world’s leading airports, including the Crystal Clouds, Jewel Rain Vortex, Shiseido Forest Valley and the Changi experience centre.

Early evening we proceed to the Singapore Flyer. Asia's largest observation wheel. The Singapore Flyer is the brainchild of world renowned architect Dr Kisho Kurokawa (Japan). The Flyer has an overall height of 165 metres (541 ft) it has 28 air conditioned capsules, each able to accommodate 28 passengers, and incorporates a three-story terminal building.Singapore Flyer + Time Capsule for an immersive experience of Singapore’s past present and future, followed by a 30minute scenic ride on the Giant Observation Wheel.

Return back to the hotel.

Elevate your experience here like no other. Embark on an immersive adventure at the Time Capsule that takes you on a thrilling journey through Singapore's past, present and future. Guided by R65, a time travel robot, the journey showcases the nation’s transformation from its humble origins as a small idyllic island to the bustling global metropolis it is today. 

Experience the Battle Box. A former underground command bunker centre 9 meters below ground in Fort Canning Park, the Battlebox was built in 1936 and was part of the Malaya command headquarters during the battle for Singapore during World War 2. 

Today you'll go to a  cooking school for a special cooking experience. Head first to a local market and learn from the chef about local ingredients they will be using in the cooking class. Return to the cooking kitchen studio to begin to cook your chosen Singaporean menu with guidance from the chef. Students will cook in teams.

Enjoy a Singapore Architecture Walking Tour.  Singapore is a feast of architectural styles and heritage, from classic European influences to ultra-modern designs inspired by great minds in Asia and the Middle East. 

The National Gallery showcases more than 8,000 pieces from Singapore’s National Collection, making it one of the world’s largest and most invaluable public collections of Singapore and Southeast Asian modern art from the 19th century to the present day. 

The Asian Civilizations Museum is dedicated to exploring Asia’s rich artistic heritage, especially the ancestral cultures of Singaporeans.

ACM focuses on the historical connections among Asian cultures, and between Asia and the world. We then proceed back to the hotel.

The Gardens by the Bay provides students with an opportunity to experience the development of modern Singapore. Set on 54 hectares the complex consists of two climate conservatories. Appreciate the unique technologies for long term conservation and sustainability. Students will enjoy the Supertree Grove and two Conservatories along with witnessing the evening Garden Rhapsody light and sound show. 

Today we proceed to Sentosa Island and visit Universal Studios Singapore. Southeast Asia’s first Hollywood movie theme park, which features an enticing selection of attractions, rides and entertainment for families and thrill-seekers. Visitors will find 24 movie-themed rides that were designed just for the Singapore park. 

We then proceed to Wings of Time. Go back in time with the spellbinding laser light show at Sentosa Island in Singapore with firework and water show that set against the backdrop of the ocean.
