Japan Ski Sample Itinerary

Head to your closest international airport to catch your flight to Tokyo.

Upon arrival you will be met by your local Educating Adventures tour representative. Once you have cleared customs you will board your private coach transfer to your Tokyo hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure before your included group dinner this evening.

Today begin with a tour of Tokyo, which offers an interesting blend of modernity and tradition while displaying the city's vibrant culture.

Throughout the day, you'll explore historic districts with charming temples and lively shopping streets, savour traditional Japanese cuisine, and discover the bustling energy of famous crossings like Shibuya. You'll also have the chance to experiece serene gardens, visit cultural landmarks like Meiji Shrine, and the neon-lit nightlife of the city. 

This morning you will meet your private coach for your transfer from Tokyo to Hakuba. The total journey time will take approximately 5 hours.

Hakuba receives an average snowfall of around 14-metres of snow each season. There are more than 11 resorts within the Hakuba Valley and the season runs from early December to April. The Hakuba Valley was home to the 1998 Winter Olympics. It is famous around the world for great skiing and has reliable, consistent snowfall. Hakuba is a true alpine village with terrain to suit all students of all ability levels.

Enjoy five full days days on the famous Japanese powder skiing in Hakuba! The group will have a full day of skiing with instructor lessons from 10:30am to 3:30pm with a supervised lunch break in the middle. The lessons will last for 2 hours each.

Time to get ready for your second day on the slopes in Hakuba. After breakfast at your hotel you will make your way to the ski fields. Begin with a two-hour skiing lesson from 10:30 to 12:30, followed by a one-hour supervised lunch break. Continue the day's adventure with an afternoon ski lesson from 1:30 to 3:30.

Time for another exhilarating day of skiing in Hakuba on your third ski-day.  After breakfast, meet for your two-hour skiing lesson from 10:30 to 12:30, refining your skills on the slopes. Enjoy a one-hour break for lunch before diving back into the thrill with another two-hour afternoon ski lesson from 1:30 to 3:30

Time for another day on the slopes in Hakuba where you will enjoy your morning and afternoon ski lessons.

Get ready for your last day on the slopes. You will have your final two ski lessons today before your activities this evening. As you wrap up your skiing adventure, take a moment to reflect on the progress you've made and the moments of pure enjoyment you've experienced on Hakuba's stunning slopes

This morning say goodbye to Hakuba and meet your private coach. You will be transferred from Hakuba back to Tokyo, taking a scenic route that includes stops at the famous Snow Monkeys and Nagano Temple.

You will stop at Jigokudani Monkey Park, where you can witness wild snow monkeys bathing in natural hot springs amidst a picturesque winter landscape.

After a heartwarming encounter with the playful monkeys, you will continue your journey to your Tokyo airport for your late flight back home.

Get it right

This quotation and itinerary is a starting point. We enjoy this stage, spending time with teachers to make changes and ensure each school group gets the best itinerary at a suitable package price.

Confirm the trip

To confirm your trip a non-refundable deposit (normally 15% of the package price) is required. Once we have secured the main components of your trip with our suppliers we will send you a confirmation invoice. This will include a remaining payments schedule as agreed with you. Note: international flights are generally only available to be booked 11 months prior to travel.

Price guarantee

We know how difficult it is for teachers to ask parents for more money. Once we have issued a confirmation invoice the price will never change as long as the itinerary does not change and the numbers of travellers remain the same.
