Confirm the trip
To confirm your trip a non-refundable deposit (normally 15% of the package price) is required. This can be completed ahead of flight release and would be refundable until your flights are booked and agreed. Note: international flights are generally only available to be booked 11 months prior to travel.

Once we have issued your second invoice, the price will never change as long as the itinerary does not change and the number of travellers remains the same. Today students visit the iconic sites of ancient Athens with a guided tour of the Acropolis (ancient citadel featuring the Parthenon, Theatre of Dionysus, and Temple of Athena), Ancient Agora.
Visit the Acropolis Museum, a striking modern museum in Athens that showcases ancient treasures from the Acropolis, offering a clear window into classical Greek art, history, and daily life.
Explore the nearby areas of Plaka and Monastiraki, and maybe find a few souvenirs.
Filled with awe and reverence as they walk amidst the grandeur of ancient history, students are immersed in the remnants of past civilisations and are able to gain a profound appreciation for the cultural and architectural achievements of antiquity.
In the evening experience the culture of more modern Greece with a traditional folklore show and dinner.

Overnight Athens.
Time to depart Athens and venture through the Peloponnese region. After breakfast, meet your guide who'll be with you for two days. You'll journey through the region on private coach with first photo stop at the Corinth Canal. Students will gaze down into the depths of the canal, carved through rugged cliffs with a precision that defies nature's bounds. It was an amazing engineering feat that seamlessly connects the Aegean to the Ionian for transport ships looking to save time, but mostly services pleasure craft today.
Visit the ruins of Mycenae, once a thriving centre of the ancient world and settling for much literature, including the works of Homer. Tour the archaeological site, home to the tomb of King Agamemnon. Take a lunch stop in breathtaking Nafplion, with its enchanting old town cascading down to meet the azure waters of the Argolic Gulf.
Next, visit ancient Epidaurus, where you will find the Temple of Asklepios. Wandering through the ancient site, students may hear the whispers of healing rituals still lingering amidst the ancient ruins of this sacred sanctuary of health and wellbeing. Last stretch, you'll head to Olympia where you’ll stay overnight.

Today students will explore one of the most glorious santuaries of the ancient world in Ancient Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Your guide will take you through the UNESCO World Heritage Site sharing stories from the intersection of history and mythology.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the interactive Archemedes Museum dedicated to the ancient Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, astronomer and inventor who contributed an invaluable amount to the world of technology.

Today students board their private coach for a day trip to the ancient site of Delphi. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you through the revered archaeological site, sharing captivating stories of the Oracle, ancient temples, and the cultural significance that once made Delphi the centre of the ancient world.
In the evening, you'll say farewell to Greece and board the overnight ferry from the Port of Patras bound for Bari, Italy.

This morning your ferry arrives in Italy at the Port of Bari, at the heel of the boot. From here you'll take a private coach transfer to your accommodation in Pompeii, via a lunch stop and time to explore the enchanting streets of Sorrento in the Bay of Naples.

Climb the world's most famous volcano. In the morning you'll take a private coach transfer to Mount Vesuvius for a guided hike to the Gran Cono trail along the crater with incredible views in the backdrop. In the afternoon, transfer by private coach to Herculaneum, named after the Greek God Hercules, for a guided tour of the archaeological site preserved by the eruption of the volcano you climbed in the morning! Today students will visit Naples, the third largest city in Italy and birthplace of the Margherita pizza. After breakfast, board your coach transfer to Naples for a visit to the National Archaeological Museum. The museum, known as the MANN ("Museo Archaeologico Nazionale di Napoli"), holds an immense collection of Roman art and has the first two floors devoted to the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. On these floors of you will find a spectacular display of frescoes and mosaics. Following your museum visit, you’ll learn about the origins of the humble pizza and put your culinary skills to the test in pizza making class. Return to your accommodation in Pompeii by private coach transfer.

Adiamo! Today your journey leads to Rome. In the morning, you’ll depart Pompeii and board your private coach headed for the Italian capital. On the way you’ll visit Ostia Antica, where the eternal city meets the sea, the former ancient port of Rome and today an archaeological park.
On arrival in Rome, you’ll meet your guide for a panoramic coach city tour. Ancient Rome's importance lies in its profound and enduring influence on Western civilisation, shaping the foundations of law, governance, engineering, art, and culture, and leaving a lasting legacy that continues to resonate in modern societies today. Dinner will be at a local restaurant nearby your hotel accommodation.

Today students will visit Rome's most iconic sites, Vatican City and the mighty Colosseum.
After breakfast, use your metrebus pass to reach Vatican City for a guided tour of the Vatican Museums (including the Sistine Chapel) and St. Peter's Basilica. The Vatican is the world's smallest independent country. The Vatican Museums display exquisite art works from the immense collection amassed by the Catholic Church and papacy including several of the most notable Roman sculptures and masterpieces of Renaissance art in the world.
In the afternoon, visit the Colosseum for a guided tour of the Colosseum Arena and underground. Students will journey back in time, walking in the footsteps of ancient Romans, witnessing the remnants of once-grand temples, basilicas, and monuments at the Forum, while standing in awe of the Colosseum's majestic amphitheatre, igniting their imaginations. Enjoy the last night of the trip together with dinner at a local restaurant.

Today students will have time to visit Rome's iconic sites before beginning the journey home. See the Spanish Steps, the awe-inspiring Pantheon and serene Piazza Navona. And of course, the Trevi Fountain, where local lore states should you toss a coin, you’ll return to Rome someday!
In the afternoon, take private coach transfer to Rome Fiumicino airport.
